Faith is belief in action

When we pulled in the driveway at our Newfoundland home last year it felt as though it had been our home always and forever. After facing obstacles galore between applying for clearance to travel, ferry restrictions, interprovincial border closures, and then some, the sense of relief and desire to root down was strong within us all.

They say when you’re house hunting, “you’ll just know” when you find the one that’s right for you. That was true of our first home together but not as strongly felt like what we experienced as we roamed the tired spaces of our ‘coastal fixer-upper with a million dollar view’. That harbour, those mountains. The smell of the green pine forest mixed with the freshness of the sea. There is nothing else like it. A macro experience. Big sky. Big winds. Life has a different colour. Blues and greens. Golden sunsets. The warm glow of the harbour lights under a big, heavy moon. It was summer but we lit the woodstove close on every single night we were there. Ian and I had landed after 14 years of dreaming. Inasmuch as we did know what we were in for… we were truly just getting started.

It is a delight to be able to share these special stories. We hope you feel inspired to pursue your own Big Ideas and heartspace wishes xoGlo
